I've seen more musky caught on 1# walleye than any other lure or bait. Never saw a huge one either. Makes sense that a 25/30 inch walleye would eat a 9" fish if available. TIGHT LINES ALL

I never thought of using a Ned rig for walleye... But I should have because they're an notorious for pinning down baits into the bottom of the lake bed.

The only time i keep ned rigs off the bottom is when im sight fishing bedded smallies the 1 or 2 times i get out a year lol. When i used to fish a lot more i hopped them off the bottom. With craw imitations mostly tho.

Unless they hit it on the way down 😎. I (finally) used a ned rig in Canada this year. One single TRD caught over a dozen walleye (all over 25"), a 18.5" smallmouth, and even a 41" musky. Talk about crazy! Several others in my group ran to the store to get them for our next trip. 😂
